Painted Paper Collage Workshop
June 20-21, 11am - 5pm, Seattle

This two-day workshop will focus on exploring the possibilities of composition and color through drawing and painted paper collage.
 

We will work from observation, memory, and references from art history by drawing shapes we observe and enjoy, painting papers with colors we find exciting, and composing with simple shapes while trusting our inner voice and intuition.
 

Together, we will explore what brings us joy in our work and discuss what inspired artists throughout art history.
 

I see painted paper collage as the foundation of my artistic practice. The way I approach drawing, painting, and sculpture grew directly from it. I hope this workshop will be interesting and useful for artists of all levels working in many different mediums.

The workshop is open to a maximum of ten participants.
